International Student News
Congratulations to the following Redlynch State College RACE art students, whose original fine artworks were presented as gifts to the following visiting International schools and International students in 2023:
In Term 3 Year 10 Outdoor Rec students completed their exhilarating 5 day hike that they had worked towards all term. Carrying their own gear, departing from Crystal Cascades, 20 brave students , including our International student from Germany, set off. Students hiked between 5-11 hours a day, completing the Varch track to Mt Edith road, canoed across Lake Tinaroo in 25 knot winds, rejoiced when they finally found flushing toilets, camped at Davies Creek & Kauri Creek, met up with the local friendly leeches, spied incredible views from high atop the Lamb Range mountains, and showed champion endurance & courage to the ultimate finish line.
A huge thank you to Mr Johnson and his team for giving our students this fantastic opportunity….
And now for their next challenge…Archery!

All of our International high school students and Ms Loa Hera from Education Queensland International joined the celebration. We wish our EQI graduate students all the very best for their exams, and their plans beyond Year 12.
