It has been a very busy term for our Defence students and families. We started off the term by welcoming our Defence families to our College for 2023 with a morning tea. We had a wonderful turnout and have ensured moving forward this event will continue to take place each year.

Throughout the term our Defence students have enjoyed engaging in a range of activities. We have focused on normalising the ADF lifestyle with the Junior students by sharing discussions about where we have all lived. It’s been very interesting for our students to learn that some of their peers have been very lucky to experience living in another country as part of their journey. As absence is a common theme, students have also enjoyed making “Welcome Home” posters for their loved ones return and also creating a little care pack to share with someone who they feel may need a little TLC.

Our Secondary Defence students have been busy creating poppies for our upcoming ANZAC Ceremony in Term 2. The Student Council will also have poppies available for purchase for $2 each during Week 1 of Term 2.
