Primary Library News
What an amazing term of borrowing – 3317 books were borrowed! A friendly reminder for our students to return library books before the holidays - our books need a well-rested holiday. Returns can occur before or after school and at lunch times.
Thank you to all our amazing families that supported our Book Fair in Week 5. This year the number of sales broke our school record, earning our school $3000 to spend on new books for our library.
Next term we have our Book Week Celebrations! The theme this year is ‘Book an Adventure’ and during Week 6 students will be invited to participate in a number of activities at the library with their class and at lunch times.
On Friday 22nd August will be our annual Book Week Dress Up Day. Students in Prep to Year 6 are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character (don’t forget to bring the book too). Parade will commence on the Basketball court at 9:15 am. We can’t wait to see all the awesome and creative costumes. More details will be available early Term 3.
