Welcome to 2025 in our Primary Library!

It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new Library Teacher and I look forward to working with all of you in the library this year!

The library is a place for exploration, inspiration, and discovery and it’s my goal to create a welcoming, engaging, and enriching environment for everyone. Students are already embracing our new quiet reading space before school and especially at lunchtime. Some of our teachers are also enjoying this space to read to their students.

Your support is essential in cultivating a love of reading and learning at home. Encourage your child to visit the library regularly and discover new books and interests. I also encourage you to keep an eye out for calendar events, including our popular annual Book Fair, Book Week Parade and many other special programs and competitions.

For students that still have overdue books from last year, please encourage them to return them as soon as possible. For any lost library books, please keep looking because they like to hide under beds, in bookshelves, in cupboards, in the car and under couches.
